AFSA 2025 is the American Overseas Service Affiliation’s (AFSA) strategic plan for the way forward for the Overseas Service. It was developed in 2015 and descriptions the Affiliation’s objectives and goals for the subsequent ten years.
The plan relies on the premise that the world is changing into more and more complicated and interconnected, and that the Overseas Service should adapt to satisfy the challenges of the twenty first century. AFSA 2025 identifies 5 key priorities for the Affiliation:
