“Mission 2025 Librarians” is a workforce growth initiative launched by the American Library Affiliation (ALA) in 2015. Its purpose is to make sure that all librarians have the abilities and information they should meet the challenges of the twenty first century. The challenge relies on the assumption that libraries are important to a thriving democracy and that librarians play an important function in guaranteeing that everybody has entry to data and the abilities they want to achieve the digital age.
